Father: John born PA, mother: unknown I have checked census records for counties in and around that area as well as around Randolph Co IN where her husband was in the 1860 census with his parents Temple Calhoun & Elizabeth (Calhoun) Smith Sr. No luck. Was she orphaned & placed in an orphanage in Vigo County? Was she placed with another family in the area? Help if you can with this puzzle. She was my dads' maternal grandmothers' mother.
