He would be about 7 at the time of the 1930 census. I do not yet know his parents names. I also do not know precisely where in Massachusetts they were from. It is likely they were from eastern Mass, possibly Suffolk/Essex/Middlesex county areas, but I cannot be more precise than that. Francis had a brother Robert, born 15 sep 1925 in Massachusetts. So they should likely be together with the family. again, i don't know the parents names, though my friend recalls being told it was "something funky".. so I take that to mean it was likely a somewhat unique (or old) name. I know it's vague but I'm hoping someone will have some luck, since 1930 isnt indexed on HeritageQuest (where i search).
