One person who has done research on the Sprinkle line has a lot of false data so I am not certain the date listed is correct. Emaline married Sprinkle, George Washington 9 January 1849 in Mt. Carmel, Marion, Smyth County, VA and is listed on the 1850 census as being 24 years of age; however, she could have been born in 1825 and had not attained her 25th year at the time of said census. If there is anyone who volunteers to do research in that area for that time period, or who has definitive proof of the marriage [i.e. copy of marriage doc.], please let me know.
