My hope is to connect him with other family and find out just when he arrived in Ohio. I have a feeling that other Canters preceded him by 10-20 years , putting them in S. Ohio around 1780. Probably as a result of the French and Indian War and the subsequent land grants. If you run into anything else, I welcome it.
