Mike was born in Szelberek, Hungary on 22 Apr 1884 and his wife, Anna, was also born in Hungary. On 30 Dec 1911, Mike said he was 27, was a rubber worker and lived at 34 Iron St., Akron. He was a white male with a light complexion, grey eyes, light brown hair, 5' 9" tall and weighed 170 pounds and had no visible marks. He said he had three children, all living in Akron: Elizabeth b 10 Apr 1899 in Szelberek, Mary b 24 Jan 1909 in Akron and Steve b 23 Apr 1911 in Akron.
