Genealogy Lookup Forum Chat Genealogy Lookup Forum Chat (GLF) was created in February 1, 2005 . Through his hard work and generosity, GLF now has more than 500 active members in our online community. There are several opportunities to chat with other gen-friendly members in the main chatroom open 24/7. We do try to stay on topic and avoid being just another gossip session, so please join in on the camaraderie done the GLF way. This is a great time to discuss whatever ails you, genealogically speaking. We have several folks willing to do lookups at Ancestry.com, Genealogy.com and other subscription-based websites. We also have "learning" chats hosted by very knowledgeable volunteers concerning New England, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), GenTrek, and Beginners. For those online during the day, General Genealogy chat is hosted throughout the week, Monday through Friday from 12 noon to 6 pm EST. For those who like trivia, we also have Genealogy Trivia on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. Mike recently created a message board for the GLF members to post messages on interests such as new or helpful websites, lookup queries for the elusive ancestors, surnames members are searching, military queries, DAR queries, and more.
