What I need is proof that Thomas Canter dob circa 1769 in Va/Md........DOD circa 1837 Ohio ..Jackson or Scioto County...actually existed !! Story is that he arrived around 1815 in Ohio, resided in a Cave, named for him, and then moved to Hamilton Township, Jackson County, Ohio next to his cousin John Canter (1774 birth) around 1830.
