I am searching for information regarding my GGGrandmother, Almarinda Susan Johnson, born: appx. 1830, where: possibly N.C., GA. married: John W. Cox, August 29, 1847 Her first name "Almarinda" is always misspelled. She is my very big brick wall. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks you & Merry Christmas! Janet Cox Yancey
You wouldn't happen to have a James Nathan Cox in your line, would you? He's from TN but I suspect he travelled to KY, GA and eventually settled in Madison County AL. My mom's maiden name is Cox. Stubby, do you have dates for James N. Cox? My GGGrandfather, John W. Cox (b. 1826-28), had a son named James Cox, b. appx. 1860.
