Hello. I am new to this list. I guess I'm just going to jump right in an ask for help. I've taken my best friends family kinda "under my wing" so to speak. searching for her. She knew next to nothing about then except for a few names and relative time periods. Thanks to the SSDI I haven thankfully been able to get the birthdates and death dates of the proper people. The husband has a very common name, so i'm not ready to dive in on him just yet. i'd like to check on the wife first since she has a much more unique last name. I've searched the 1930 census index on ancestry.com for the surname in the spelling I believe she had. I believe I have found her. Anna Lucile Plaschka born abt 1928 in Franklin County, Kansas. I also checked franklin county for all other Plaschka listings. there were only 16. possibly all connected, though don't yet know for sure. i see the oldest are Wenzel and Katherine, a married couple, but I would like to start with Anna Lucille to determine her parents, then move from there.
