Have you made contact with the library/genealogy society in the city/county where the events occurred? You can bet there was articles in the newspaper! Another tip: the RAOGK.org site has VOLUNTEERs in most counties, they might locate info for you too. Have you checked out NewapaperArchive.com ? They have a 14 day trial subscription, they have a good collection of stuff. Make sure to cancel BEFORE the 14 days are up...or then it's $119.40 a year. Good Luck!
