Was said that their daughters were of Cherokee lineage, would hve had to been on moms' side as Dads' people were from the Bavaria Germany area. Daughters: Martha Ann (Fouts) Fowlkes Sarah Jane (Fouts) Bonebrake Mary Caroline (Fouts) Staley Martha Ann stayed in Otoe Co NE with husband Dr. Wm Cralle Fowlkes, Sarah Jane in Noble Co OK with spouse Golias and Mary Caroline in Searcy Co AR with spouse. Have not been able to track down anything regarding the daughters being enrolled as the NARA sites contains PDF Files which Web Tv Can not access. Can anyone tell me where I might look for records? I have no idea who Jerusha may have been prior to possibly changing her name to that of a caucasian in order to marry Peter. She remarried 10 Oct 1864 Otoe Co NE to one Wm Jones then disappears from the Federal Census Records. There was a Wm & Jerusia/Jarusia Jones in Lawrence Co MO but that lady was a BECK by birth, buried in the family plot. Was wondering if Jerusha and Wm went back to live with her people in IN/OK/AR?
