    3. My great grandfather was William H McKinney, born 1815, SC. He married Elizabeth Pigg Wakefield, March, 1840, Lincoln Co., TN. I've never been able to get back past William. I know there is a McKinney family in SC that had a William McKinney, born abt 1736 and married to Barbara (Barbry) Culp, born 1733. She was scalped by Indians, but lived. There are many Williams in their line. It appears that some of their descendants moved to KY, and I know of a number of KY McKinneys moved into Lincoln Co., TN, but I've never been able to make a connection. I will appreaciate any help. Sincerely, Dortha McElroy Greenlee

    3. I am researching SANDERS, JACKSON, SONICOOIE, SPRINGFROG, BRADSHAW, CRAIGHEAD/CRAGHEAD(I have found 19 spellings of this name so far) My brickwall is ALLEN CRAIGHEAD/CRAGHEAD. Born ca 1828 in Tenn and nothing on him til he shows up in the 1850 census in Arkansas. At that time he is listed as a laborer in the household of the brother of the woman he was to later marry. If someone could find info on ALLEN in the time span from 1828 to 1850 I would have the best present ever. thanks helen [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: "michael sandridge" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, December 02, 2006 3:08 PM Subject: [GENEALOGY-LOOKUP] Roll Call > Lets do a Roll Call.
