Eva was born 8 months after the 1920 census was taken on Jan. 9th. In 1930, only Anthony, Amathis/Matthew, Adam and Eva were living at home. In that census, Anthony was a truck driver for a "pop" company which confirms the info in his obit. Once you get Steve or Mary's obit, that should give you the married names of their daughters and where everyone was in 1968.

Everyone died in Barberton. Their death certs may show their parents' names but it is more likely that the surviving spouse would know/remember than one of their children. Before I would spend $16.50 on each death cert, I would check http://www.ellisislandrecords.org for their immigration record. Column 11 usually asks for their nearest relative in their home country. Another idea would be to request a copy of their obits from the Barberton Public Library, http://www.barberton.lib.oh.us/. Either of these options could save you at least 33 bucks! He was a white male with a light complexion, grey eyes, light brown hair, 5' 9" tall and weighed 170 pounds and had no visible marks. He said he had three children, all living in Akron: Elizabeth b 10 Apr 1899 in Szelberek, Mary b 24 Jan 1909 in Akron and Steve b 23 Apr 1911 in Akron. Mary, aka Maria, left Liverpool on the ship Mauretania and arrived in NY on 29 Jun 1912. On 8 May 1938, Steve said he was 51, was a cement block maker and lived at 894 Shannon Ave. in Barberton. He was a white male with a fair complexion, blue eyes, brown hair, 5' 9" tall and weighed 145 pounds. His only visible mark was a scar on his chin. He said he had seven children. The 3 oldest were born in Yugoslavia and the 4 youngest were born in Barberton: Elizabeth b 16 Aug 1905, Steve b 16 Nov 1907, Mary b 1 Feb 1910, Antony b 4 Jun 1913, Matthew b 7 Sep 1915, Adam b 9 Oct 1917 and Eva b 7 Oct 1900. The '1900' is a type; it should have been 1920. All of his children lived in Barberton except Mary who lived in Nat. Wood, Ohio. Would someone please look=up a marriage for Everett Charles Abbott, born 1907 in WV and Carrie May Burton, born 1912 in OH? Their only child was born in 1933. However, in the 1930 census they were already married and living with Everett's uncle, who was his guardian, in Pt. Pleasant, WV. I went to Charleston and they told me they had a "notation" but no official copy, of a marriage in Fayette Co., WV in 1929 but I haven't been able to get back up there to try to find it.
