Looking for parents and death of Theodore Washington MOORE b. 1821 in Ohio, probably Muskingum Co. I've found him on the censuses as late as 1870, but not after that. He was married 5 Jun 1852 in Muskingum Co. to Cynthia nee VANDERVORT, 1st husband Samuel WALKER. I'd also like to find information on their children, especially: Barnett Vandervort MOORE b. 1855 Arthur Robert (Bob) MOORE b. 1870 Their other children include George Washington MOORE b. 1858, d. 1930 Frances Ellen MOORE, b. 1860, m. Charles Hedges GALLOGLY John MOORE, b. 1863 Phillip MOORE b. 1865 George, John, Phillip, and their mother Cynthia eventually ended up in Morrow Co where they are buried. Looking for an obituary for my ggrandfather William Bell Davidson who lived in Tamaha, I.T., in the late 1800s until his death in July of 1906. He was the town druggist, a notary public, a former postmaster, and a founding member of his Masonic Lodge. Can't imagine there's not an obit somewhere. Tamaha is now in Haskell County, OK. Hello. I was hoping some would do a lookup for me. I'm seeking to find Joseph H BARRON (and family) in the 1901 and 1911 Canadian Census. what I've got him is from the 1881 so far. (except that i know his parents were hyacinthe BARRON and Josephin DEPOKAS ..though her name has been badly transcribed in various locations. he also has a sister Harriet that married Felix C Bertrand). He was born abt 1847 in Ontario. His wife was Eulalie (or some variant of that). He had a number of children. He was catholic, french, and a barber. He was prob from Amherstburg, Essex, Ontario. He lived there in 1881 but so far as I can tell, hattie and their parents also were from there. I'd appreciate the images, but will settle for the info. Have you made contact with the library/genealogy society in the city/county where the events occurred? You can bet there was articles in the newspaper! Another tip: the RAOGK.org site has VOLUNTEERs in most counties, they might locate info for you too. Have you checked out NewapaperArchive.com ? They have a 14 day trial subscription, they have a good collection of stuff. Make sure to cancel BEFORE the 14 days are up...or then it's $119.40 a year. Good Luck!
