Researching Lindsay/Lindsey /Atwood/Ingram mostly from Ohio, Franklin County. Have lost Eli or Elijah Lindsey last found on the 1860 Census for Truro, Franklin, Ohio. Elijah is 40, wife Mary Jane 36, James E. 13, Julia Ann 11, Charles 7, Elijah (Jr?) 4, Saymore 3 and Salmon P C 3/12. Elijah disappears after 1860, no death record can be found. Also cannot locate his parents. Mary Jane later remarried to Lemuel Bear. Would appreciate help with this "Brick wall". My biggest brick wall is John Jackson Lathram. The first real good record I have of him is when he married Frances Jane Shepard in Escambia county, FL on 05 Mar 1857. His birthyear has fluctuated between 1822 and 1825. He may have been born in GA, AL, or most likely one of the Carolinas. He was already a Methodist minister when he married, but the church records give no info on his parentage or birth. And I can't find him in the 1850 census. Carolina, mother Alabama, married 16 years. A. Joseph 1-1873 Georgia, parents Georgia Madline 10-1881 Georgia, parents Georgia ( the name looks to be Madline but this person is listed as a son) It looks to me that William and Susan are Lula's parents, but A. Joseph and Madline had a different mother I can not find Percy or Romalice or the William Pritchett family in any other census. I did find this Port Sullivan Cemetery, Milam County, Texas BAILEY, Lula, Wife of P. A. BAILEY, Sep. 30, 1883 - July 30, 1920 The birth date matches, the death date of 1920 could be a typo. You can visit or write to the Port Sullivan cemetery and see what they have for a death date and any other info on file. If you get the correct death date you can get her death certificate.
