I have some information about his death but nothing to confirm it. He died in May 1961 at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa. Theodore was born May 30, 1903 to Wilber Wells & ida Green I am not sure where he was born. I have been told in Illinois, but have not been able to confirm it. On the census it shows he was born in Illinois but when I had someone check they said he wasn't born there. I do know that Theodore grew up in Clinton County, Clinton, Iowa. I also know that he was married to a women named Lyla I Wells b. March 2, 1906 d. January 11, 1963. Theodore & Lyla are buried at Clinton memorial Park in Clinton County, Iowa. If anyone can find me a death notice or an obituary for either one it would be very helpful to my family & myself. Theodore is my Grandfather. Unfortunately he had no idea who we were.
