List 3 very diverse mtDNA sequences have appeared on the Genbank database. The first is a Danish haplogroup U5a2c sequence from a 10,000 year old skeleton. See: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/MF992925 for more details. The second is a novel haplogroup K1b2a sequence from the Tajik. See: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/MF737342 for more details. And the third, is a novel haplogroup H7e sequence from Switzerland. See: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/MG004173 This sequence is supplementary to the 'Yacobi & Bedford' paper - that has been published for some time - despite what it says on the Genbank page ! See: www.jogg.info for this interesting paper (a free pdf download) As usual I have added the sequences to my 'Checker' program to ensure accuracy of transcription. (Both note the Denmark-ancient sequence not quite complete.)
