Mike (and others) One of the advantages of 23andMe testing is that you get a fairly good identification of your mtDNA Haplogroup - not perfect - but well worthwhile in most cases. And, it is useful once you have your results is to upload the RAW DATA file to: www.openSNP.org Also uploading the file to GedMatch (using the GENIUS for V5 files) is important. And hopefully shortly one will be able to search by haplogroup label (as is already available for the standard GEDMatch program).
