    3. Hi Jim, Thanks for your response. I have a Windows laptop. I downloaded the Ancestry file and did absolutely nothing to it and tried to upload it. Still the same message. The same file uploads fine into My Heritage. Do you have a Mac? There are special instructions for that - or borrow a PC.
