I assume you're referring to the GSA chip used by LivingDNA and 23andMe v5 (since August of this year). The chips themselves are perfectly fine for matching and ancestry. The problem is trying to compare results with people who have tested on older platforms. The overlap of SNP content is too low to be reliable, although GEDmatch Genesis is experimenting with different algorithms. The GSA chip may be the wave of the future.
