    1. [DNA] Re: What does Genesis do?
    2. Remember that the One-to-Many comparison is based on whatever the "batch process" has determined are the matching segments for all combinations of every kit in the database, while the One-to-One comparison does a real-time comparison of the tokenized SNP data for the two kits you specify.  It is entirely possible that the "batch process" used a different algorithm version than whatever is currently being used in the One-to-One comparison.  For that matter, the "tokenization" process that encodes the SNP's in the raw DNA data file may have had different versions as well. However, have a look at the DNA File Diagnostic Utility on Genesis!  It is clear that "migrated" kits have indeed been put through a new "batch process", as well as a "slimming" process (apparently reducing the number of SNP's by around 30% at least for some kits?). Given that Genesis is still nominally a development site, I think we should expect the results to vary from time to time.  The advice from the "normal" GEDmatch site still applies, however:  Always "verify" matches you find on the One-to-Many report by running the One-to-One comparison tool!
