I just want to add my GRATEFUL voice to those who advocate continuing to have Ian Logan post his MTDNA full sequence results here.  As was pointed out elsewhere, anything one is not interested in can always be scrolled by or deleted.  Personally, I'm very appreciative of the "heads up" about new full sequence results because they often pertain to one of my haplogroups of interest, but beyond that, I'm also alerted to relevant scientific papers and research.  Frankly, these postings of Ian's are one of the main benefits for me to belong to this group. I notice that concerns seem to bubble up when Ian posts many days' worth of sequences from huge studies....but this happens quite rarely and so again, I hope those who aren't interested can just ignore those list postings rather than advocating for the removal of certain types of genetics postings.  Trying to define in advance what genetic info is "worthy" of posting and what is not is a slippery slope I'd hate to see this group slide down...
