If I buy a kit from My Heritage and transfer results to FTDNA, I believe I have to pay a fee to unlock results and use the chromosome browser. Is that correct? But let's say the individual whose results I transferred to FTDNA has cousins tested by FTDNA. Will segment matches in the transferred kit show up on the chromosome browsers of cousins tested by FTDNA? Lindsey
Yes, Lindsey, they certainly should. MyHeritage tests are run by FTDNA. The transfer fee is $19 at FTDNA - so it is like testing at FTDNA for $19 You currently can transfer an ancestry or older 23andMe test to MyHeritage and LivingDNA for free - though MH is going to start charging on Dec 1st. LivingDNA is going to be rolling out matching soon > On Nov 14, 2018, at 5:58 AM, Lindsey Britton via GENEALOGY-DNA <genealogy-dna@rootsweb.com> wrote: > > If I buy a kit from My Heritage and transfer results to FTDNA, I believe I have to pay a fee to unlock results and use the chromosome browser.
