I was surprised by FTDNA's announcement of a Thanksgiving sale ending November 20th. For the past several years the sale has begun in November and ended on December 31st. I'm wondering whether this will be the best time to buy or whether to wait for Black Friday or a coupon later this month. What are others planning to do? Lindsey
Hi Lindsey. Normally the price is less with the black Friday sales. I have noticed that ancestry, living dna, my heritage and ancestry have all had sales on this month and wonder if they are all trying to grab Christmas sales before the competition (also to grab the shoppers who start and finish their shopping for Xmas early). I won't be surprise if the black Friday sales are lower about a week after this current sale ends and that it launches the usual christmas sales.
