    3. It appears there will be fees either way after November 30th--or at least fees for full access to tools at both companies.  On second thought I'm inclined to order from FTDNA when the sale is announced.  Reasons to Order at My Heritage1. Tempting sale price plus free shipping on 3 or more tests2. Free access to tools for new orders vs fees for test results from other companies uploaded after November 30th3. Results compatible with tests performed at FTDNA (Ancestry and 23 and me tests are not)4. Large and rapidly growing database5. Exciting new tools described at ConferenceBut:1. I have five tests at Family Tree already--four have been uploaded to My Heritage and three to GEDMATCH; one cousin hasn't given permission to upload to either and may not.2.  We have no assurance that My Heritage won't charge for some of the new tools announced at the Conference.3.  Family Tree has a different business model and is unlikely to charge its customers for tools.4. Family Tree's sale should be almost as good as the sale at My Heritage.5.  I can have my out-of-town cousin's test sent directly to her if I order from FTDNA whereas if I order from My Heritage all three tests will be sent to me.Lindsey ***************** Lindsay, MyHeritage uses Family Tree DNA (FTDNA) kits and FTDNA does the analysis.  MyHeritage does their own interpretation of the raw results, so MyHeritage and FTDNA can give you different results.  I suggest that you continue testing at FTDNA and transferring to MyHeritage.  Of course, if the fee for transfer to MyHeritage, it may pay to go the other way.  In any case, I recommend being in both databases. Yours aye, Bob McLaren
