This represents a great breakthrough, but am sure all of can see the potential problem. The problem is if we are keeping babies with genetic defects alive, those genetic defects will be passed down to the next generation. Recognizing this, somebody will have to decide which babies to keep alive, and which babies to let die of natural causes. I am sure everybody can see where that will lead.
