Happy Birthday indeed! In early 2001, I had what I thought was the insane wish that I could use DNA to find out whether Harvey Kelley of Morgan County, Tennessee was also Elisha Dorsey of Oconee County, Souther Carolina. On a whim, I googled something like DNA and genealogy. My first hit was Family Tree DNA. I was on the phone with Bennett almost immediately. When I hung up with visions of new ancestors dancing in my head, I looked through the rest of my hits. There was a post from a genealogy-dna@rootsweb.com list. I clicked and I was in! The genealogy-dna list gave my new life of genetic genealogy focus and direction for many years. My new friends there coached and advised and commiserated through the whole Kelley/Dorsey adventure and then the establishment and growth of the Dorsey DNA Project. Harvey Kelley and Elisha Dorsey WERE the same person. Thank you Ann for the list and for all of the advice, information, ideas, inspiration and friendship over the years. Where has the time gone?
