I just came from the Halloween festivities in New York City's Greenwich Village and I saw a boy dancing on MacDougal Street at West 3rd with his Family Tree DNA number on his costume. The number was 631148 I am sure that is a valid number. Has anybody ever seen anything like this? Sam Sloan
FTDNA numbers are sequential. our latest two weeks ago was a 440000 so can't be a number for FTDNA. Could be a gecaching travel bug number for that game. I've seen that a good bit as it allows others playing the game to 'log' meeting the person or thing wearing the number On Sat, Oct 31, 2015 at 10:56 PM, Sam Sloan via <genealogy-dna@rootsweb.com> wrote: > I just came from the Halloween festivities in New York City's Greenwich > Village and I saw a boy dancing on MacDougal Street at West 3rd with his > Family Tree DNA number on his costume. > > The number was 631148 > > I am sure that is a valid number. > > Has anybody ever seen anything like this? > > Sam Sloan > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > GENEALOGY-DNA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without > the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- Lisa R Franklin RN,BSN Admin, Franklin Y DNA Project http://trackingyourroots.com/FranklinGenetics/ FranklinGenetics@gmail.com http://trackingyourroots.com/DNA (How To presentation (23andme), tips, & helps. *2**3**&**m**e**: **The World's Largest database & coincidentally the ONLY one with all the tools you need for genealogy and DNA!--* http://refer.23andme.com/v2/share/6158544791499756901/4672616e6b6c696e47656e657469637340676d61696c2e636f6d BEST GENETIC GENEALOGY BOOK! http://www.amazon.com/Genetic-Genealogy-Emily-D-Aulicino-ebook/dp/B00HJJWBU2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1391174801&sr=8-1&keywords=Genetic+Genealogy
Bet the shirt was “dark maroon" in color. Hex color code #631148 is for a dark shade of maroon. See http://www.spycolor.com/631148 On the other hand he could be a mechanic, it was a salute to Tecumseh Carburetor 631148 Or it could be a salute to DKNY Fusion Lifewear Shaping Tank 631148. After all you saw him in Greenwich Village. Or it could be he’s a cook, and particular likes may tag stoves, and part 631148 is a replacement heating element for Whirlpool & Maytag Surface stoves The possibilities are endless, but I’m inclined to think he liked “dark maroon”.
