What suggested that the number was an FTDNA kit? Did he have a picture of chromosomes on his costume? I'd be surprised if it was a DNA kit number, as it's not that long since I used a number in the 400000 range. However, if FTDNA has reached 631148, more power to them... It looks like a Family Tree DNA number to me. My step-daughter's number is 431199 Very similar but you might be right that they have not reached that number yet. Can't be an FTDNA number. They are still in the 45xxx series. Might be the 23andMe number in order of receipt. We got told these a few months ago. They are up over 1 million, but 631, 148 would be in the last 12 months I think. -----Original Message----- From: genealogy-dna-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:genealogy-dna-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Karla Huebner via Sent: Sunday, 1 November 2015 3:05 PM To: Sam Sloan <samhsloan@gmail.com>; genealogy-dna@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [DNA] Halloween Costume with a Family Tree DNA number on it What suggested that the number was an FTDNA kit? I guess it's just a shirt with a 6 digit number on it. What makes you think it had something to do with DNA, Sam?
