Must be a glitch. Mine is behaving normally. I'm on the new site, but I didn't have any "glitches" before being transferred to the new one. I was moved last month. Does anyone with more experience with the new 23&Me know if it's just a temporary glitch that DNA Relatives is badly misbehaving or is it a sign that I'm about to get the new DNA Relatives? Symptoms: 1) Frequently there are zero entries showing 2)There are no counts in the ("...25 of [X] matches..") box in the ~upper RH corner. 3) If you try to change which display (Relationship to say Most Recent Matches) the match dims out as if you tried to change the display while you're logged out (which we were able to do anyway (as long as we didn't try to edit our notebook) at one time but has been the norm for about a year). ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to GENEALOGY-DNA-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
I failed to make it clear, that as of yesterday I was on the old system, and I have no idea what the new system looks like. I also forgot to mention that my wife's account shows zero entries, mine and my sis's initially show entries, but they might go to zero if I try to manipulate it some. Mine is behaving oddly. Shows only the top few of my matches on page one. paging through, it only shows one or zero matches per page. Still says there are 1000+ matches, but isn't revealing them for the most part. I have not been moved to the new site as yet. I only have 6 matches as of today - all close family. But some close family is missing as well - including one child. I am not transitioned to the new system yet. -----Original Message----- From: genealogy-dna-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:genealogy-dna-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Dwight Holmes via Sent: Friday, January 08, 2016 12:26 PM To: Barbara Shroyer; Genealogy DNA List Cc: jlerch1 Subject: Re: [DNA] The new 23&Me??? Like the rest of you my matches apart from the very closest have also disappeared. What I find most frustrating, apart from how long it has been since I've been able to click on a new match's profile for further details without getting NotFounds is that there appear to be no announcements at all that are readily viewable to those of us not transitioned. On the old forums, which is the only one available to those of us in the old system as far as I can tell, this was posted Josie just posted an update thread on the new forum but doesn't mention us at all: http://www.23andmeforums.com/discussion/607/release-notes-january-8-2016#latest <http://www.23andmeforums.com/discussion/607/release-notes-january-8-2016#latest> Clicking on that took me to a new community, and all it required to join and read was a user name for the forum (I was signed in to 23andme before visiting the link). On a very quick read of the comments they seem rather surprised to hear about the problems those of us not yet transitioned are having! I do so wish they'd done a heap more testing and got all of this sorted before releasing ANY of it. I'm sick of not being able to share, see profiles, see invites to share I've been sent, not see Countries of Ancestry, and being left in the dark.
