If it's a "faithful" transcription, it will be a chronological "diary" of goings-on with the church, admissions, baptisms, marriages. Don't overlook the Barbour Collection, in fact, I'd go the Barbour Collection before the church records. The Barbour Collection, film version is state-wide for your name, plus you can pick up all other vitals in the state for your name off of one film. The last name of a woman in marriage record can't be relied on, entirely, to establish her identity. It may have been a widowed name, or just plain wrong. The identity is more likely proved from a will or real estate deed, likely on her side of the family, ie dad or brother, etc. Don't neglect to check published works on the Arnold's and the Hawe's side of the equation.. compare them, dates work done, level of scholarship, etc. And lastly, you might check the indexes of TAG, NEHGR and/or Persi for research aids.
