All, I found a newspaper clipping between the pages of a book I bought today that might be of interest to some CT lister. The clipping is from (probably) The Hartford Times, it is undated but was in a book published in 1919 on a Rockville/Vernon activity, and the caption reads: Little Ellen Jendrucek of 15 Orchard St., Rockville, gets Sesquicentennial booster button from Rockville Rotary Club President Harry Flamm who has grown a heavy beard for forthcoming beard contest [Times photo by Hal Warner]. A picture of Harry Flamm pinning a button on little Ellen (who appears to be about 5 years old) is above the caption.
