Hi Nancy, Joanne and fellow listmembers, I have just recently changed ISPs temporarily so I'm not changing my previous email addresses at exbanker1216@webtv.net and mlmaddie@webtv.net until I am permanent. However, I did want to respond to two postings today. We have our ggrandparents, Charles and Henrietta COSIER IVES, buried there, along with Sarah Elvira Ives and James Ives,Charles' mother and father, and Elvira Ives, daughter of Charles and Henrietta. The cemetery listings are at the library in Winsted. There is one phone number for the few cemeteries in Winsted. It is (860) 379-4070. It is right off the main street in town and we have taken pictures of the gravesite. According to the map it appears to be South Main Street but your best bet is contacting the above phone number as there is no onsite sexton. The majority of our Ives were from Fairfield County originally and then moved to New Haven County and the Winsted, Torrington and Litchfield area. As for our Gilbert line, James Gilbert Ives (noted above) was the son of Sally Betsey Gilbert, daughter of James Gilbert and Sarah Loring from southern Fairfield County and Southbury.
