Can anyone tell me if there is still a river called the Halfway River? In 1750's my ancestor bought a grist mill on the south side of the Halfway River which was then the dividing line between Newtown and Stratford, Conn, and later the dividing line between Newtown and Monroe. Is the river called by some other name these days? Thanks Sue
