I'm am looking for The family of Stephen G. Hills. He was born in Connecticut in 1810. I suspect in Hartford or surrounding town. His mother's name was Cynthia. She was also born in Connecticut. I'm looking for his fathers name. They removed to Fabius, NY about 1817, where he lived the rest of his life. Since he would of been only 7 years old at the time of the move, I suspect he moved with both parents as many Hills from the Hartford area moved to Fabius in the early 1800's. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there a Historian for Hartford? Any one researching the Hills of Connecticut? In 1810 in Fabius there was a Benjamin, Daniel, Joseph and Joshiah Hills. By 1820 there was the 4 already mentioned plus Daniel Jr., David, Joseph J., Joseph Jr., Orsemus and Samuel. Again any help on finding Stephen's father would be appreciated.
