I don't know when, where, or how she died >either. >Anyone else out ther looking for Rothrock?Ý A relative has said she was >possibly from Connecticut.ÝMy grandmother, Florence Donovan was born in >Elizabeth NJ in 1914.Ý This is a total shot in the dark. Anyone >have any suggestions on how to proceed? >Thanks, >Kitty >Ý >Ý I'm interested in the ROTHROCK surname also, but the ones I know of don't go back to Connecticut. This is a family of German origin who immigrated to Pennsylvania in the 1730s, settled in the York Co. area. Some descendants become RODRUCK and then RODERICK, some remain ROTHROCK. Three brothers moved to the Winston-Salem NC area in the 1770s and left a lot of descendants there, and those are the ones I'm researching.
