This is in regards to the person "annoyed" by the Barbour queries happening on here the past few days... The purpose of the list is to try and connect with others right? What real harm are the Barbour queries having? You never know where you might pick up that missing twig or connect with that other person who is searching for the same as you. I think we should all be grateful for good hearted people like Dave and the others that take the time and energy not only to look this information up, but also type it into and email and send it.. whether someone has been found or not. NOT finding the information in certain spots is sometimes just as important as finding it! Who knows, the next post might just happen to be someone looking for your family.. wouldn't you be excited then!! I understand the person earlier and probably others too are beginning to feel a little annoyed with the Barbour Queries, but it only takes a second to hit delete and get rid of the message. It on average probably takes me 10-15 seconds to see if I know a surname mentioned, and if not, I simply delete it. By the way, I live in St. Lawrence County NY and if anyone has relatives they are trying to locate in this area, I would be more than GLAD to help.
