Golden Hill Reservation in Fairfield, Tribal headquarters in Trumbull, Ct. Wappinger or Mohican were in that area, the Schaghticoke are there now. Also possible one of the tribes on Long Island, The Poospatuck, (Suffolk Co, Mastic, Long Island, NY) and Shinnecock, (Suffolk Co, Southampton, Long Island, NY), are closest to Stamford and Darien, Ct. The Schaghticoke Reservation (State Res) has it headquarters in Kent, Ct.
