My brother has a cane made from the Charter Oak that had been handed down to my grandfather. Without thinking much about it have always assumed that though his grandmother was a Talcott that it came through Roger Sherman. Does anyone know when and how the canes, assuming there is a number of them, came to be made and presented? Abby
