Would anyone out there have any suggestions as to how I can find this guy? He is extremely elusive. His father was Thomas (I think). Edwin was born cir. 1776 somewhere in Connecticut. He ran away to sea at age 16 and between then and the time he went to Pennsylvania in 1800 he became a Captain and part owner of a vessel. His first wife, who I believe he married in Connecticut was --- Brown. They had two daughters (in Connecticut I think) Jerusha and Joanna. I desperately need to narrow my search. I'm at my wits end.
