Hello.. I just joined the list and I'm trying to find out whatever happened to Maria McEVOY.. Maria's parents James and Jane (Fitzpatick) McEvoy were married in Co. Laois, Ireland..Maria was born 5-4-1872.. I believe she was born or grew up either in the New Haven or Waterbury area..Her siblings were Honor (1870) John (1874) Anne (1877) Thomas (1879) Bridget (1880) Joseph (1882) James (1889) and Jane (1892).. Some names of sponsors to the births of Maria's siblings were: RYAN, DOWLING, PERCUSSION, DUGGAN, WHELAN, LAMB and GRAHAM.. This information comes from a friend in Ireland who has hit a "brick wall" in his search for Maria.. I'm hoping someone may have a connection to any McEvoy information.. Thank You Claudia..
