Hi everybody, I purchased an old Hartford Ct newspaper from a flea market this weekend ! It was printed on Nov.8, 1802 ! Here is one of the articles I found interesting ,hope you enjoy it too :)))). Joan in Tn Whereas, Jamima Ward of Winchester in Litchfield county, brought her petition to the Honorable Superior Court, holden at Litchfield , within and for the county of Litchfield, on the fourth Tuesday of August 1802, praying for a bill of divorce against her husband, Daniel Ward ,late of Winchester, now absconded out of this State to parts unknown to the petitioner, for three years willful absence and total neglect of duty; and said petition was by order of said Court continued to the next Superior Court to be holden at Litchfield, on the first Tuesday in February next, when and where the said Daniel is notified if he see cause to appear and make answer thereto.
