I guess this is what you call looking for a needle in a hay stack but I am up against a brick wall. Is there someone up there with a census index for the year 1840 of Connecticut. My problem my Gr. Grandfather David H TODD would have to be list as a child. So I am wondering how many TODD'S show up on that years census, and in how many different counties. If I had that break down of counties then I could start by looking up the families in each county. If anybody can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You Very much Carl Todd Pleasant Hill, MO
