Hi Mary, South Norwalk is located in Fairfield County.I suggest that you subscribe to the new Fairfield County Genealogy list and post your line of research. There are a lot of helpful people subscribed to the list. Click on below to subscribe. Dana Rae, you might want to consider doing the same for your obit in Huntington. And while I'm at it,I am still looking for volunteers to transcribe Fairfield County vitals from 1850-1900. We hope to have them available on the internet by midsummer. Bethel is complete and Wilton is well on it's way.We are presently looking for a free home for the project if anyone has any suggestions. Please don't ask for any lookups as I don't have easy access to the records and am very involved with keeping the project going. Volunteering will help speed up the proccess. Dale, where were your families located in CT? If you can give us all an idea we might have a better chance at providing some clues. And for the record, I run a few lists and it is beneficial to most to post any and all info about searches to the lists, whether you are the searcher or the searchee. You never know who might be on the receiving end of those messages. For those who don't care to see them, that's what the index at the beginning is for. Just fly right by and delete at your pleasure.
