Dear fellow searchers, You have been so helpful about my questions concerning my searchin in the book "Families of early Milford, Ct" by Susan Woodruff Abbott. In the family line I am searching, the Stone family, there ae notations behind names and dates. Does someone on this list have an understanding what they are? I would appreciate some help on this. This is a sample......William Stone s of Samuel and Naomi (Nettleton) was born 19 May 1788 and baptized 6 July 1788 (MC1). He married Orange, Conn 18 Marrch 1811 (OCh).All through the family history there are references to MC1 and OCh and also a referance to MLR Vol. 22 . Any help would be much appreciated, I have a feeling that when I am told the meaning of the abbreviations I am going to feel totaly foolish. Oh well. Perhaps a senior moment. :-) Jacqueline
