The 2nd Regiment CT Volunteer Infantry was in existence during the first 3 months of the war, its members enlisted for 90 days. Some enlisted in other units after the 2nd dissolved. They were actively involved in the battle of 1st Manassas (Bull Run). There is a web site devoted to this unit, found it by doing some looking about and running threads on Cyndi's List last night, could find it again if I had to but didn't bookmark it.
