Has anyone info on the MORSE family of Litchfield, Conn.? Lucretia Morse, b. 1823 was my great grandmother. She married Samuel Phelps Whiting of Hartford. They moved to Illinois in the 1840's. Lucretia's parents were Jacob and Harriet Morse of Litchfield. Who they were, what they did, I have no idea. Thanks for any help. Joanne B.
