Carol, The Preston Historical Society is on Rte. 164 in Preston. I've been there, but at the time it was closed. It's my understanding that they're not open on Saturdays during the summer months. There is a handwritten note on the door that says the following: Local History Inquiries - Joyce Steffenson, Apr - Nov, 371 Rte. 165, Preston, CT 06365 & Harriet Rosiene, 211 Rte. 164, Preston, CT 06365.
