Hi list folks, I am searching for info or relatives of the Morarty/Morrarty family of CT/RI. Does anyone have information on Oren Morrarty. One of his childeren is my great grandfather,Austin. Austin married Mary Earle in RI. They had 8 kids of which my grandmother was one. She was born in 1882, the third child born. One of her sisters was Orenette( named after her grandfather , Oren. I think she ended up in the Hartford area maried to an Upham. My grandmother was Maude gladys Morrarty and married William Baker. Any chance the surname Moriarty is related? My husband's great grandmother was Mary Moriarty, immigrated from IRE to CT (believe the Hartford area, but not sure) about 1872.
