Sandy, You might be able to buy or ask someone for information about your ancestors if a cd disc exists for the Connecticut men who served in the Revolution. Massachusetts has such a disc and I got help from it from a kind person online. It would make sense that such a cd exists but then sense does not always rule. There is also a group of people who help others, the last words of the group I think are various act of kindness who help people online. Have never used them but heard good things about them. Also, if you write or call to the Connecticut archives or history group they most likely could help too, they would know the Connecticut soldiers. Also, if your relatives have been put in the Daughters of American Revolution you could get copies of the latest papers and on them it would show the service, family line, etc. The fee I think is 10.00 per paper or 3 for 30.00 and it could take 5-6 weeks to get the papers. The DAR is one of the few historical groups that send out papers to non-members just for information and you can ask them if your ancestor is in their records at dar.org and leave an e-mail for them about this which they will answer. Hope this helps and that you have a nice week. Susan
